Sometime earlier this month, we received an email, obviously from a Filipino who used a fictitious name. He used the name Fidel Ramon, which we all know, are both first names. I still have to hear of a Filipino whose surname is Ramon. Even the email address that he used contained the letters “ph” to deceive the reader that it originated from the Philippines. In the subject line, he wrote “Congratulations on your success Philippine Tribune.” There was nothing really wrong with that.
The contents, however, were definitely fabricated and meant to deceive the one hundred or so people to whom he sent a copy of that malicious email. This Fidel Ramon, whom I now call a COWARD, claimed that Philippine Tribune has “garnished over $77,400” per year over the past 9 years.
Without an iota of evidence, he declared that the newspaper charges over $7,000 for a full page advertisement. Our advertisers of course know that is a big lie. So much for his frivolous claim. The full text of his email appears on page 18 of this month’s issue.
What Mr. Fidel Ramon doesn’t know is that his email has already been traced by our computer experts. We have determined the IP address of his computer and consequently, his home location from which he fabricated lies about the Philippine Tribune.
Based on his home/office location, we have also determined his real identity and fraud charges are now being prepared against this person.
Now, isn’t that a classic example of crab mentality?
