The Philippine Community Council of NSW’s (PCC NSW) Committee on Youth Project is organizing a talent show that will feature a variety of solo or group performances in the areas of music, dance, drama or comedy acts, and other artistic renditions. The show entitled ‘Filipino Youth Got Talent’ will be staged on the evening of the 29th of October 2011.
This artistic production has the following objectives; to develop the Filipino youth into involvement of Filipino community-based activities; to provide the Filipino youth a platform to showcase their talent for exposure to potential opportunities; and to promote the Filipino artistic skills/talents to the mainstream society for the upliftment of the youth’s self-esteem of being a Filipino.
Proceeds of this project will go the PCC NSW’s PADER Program (Philippine Australia Disaster Emergency Response), whose aim is to provide emergency relief assistance to victims of calamities and natural disasters in the Philippines and Australia.
The ‘Filipino Youth Got Talent’ show is open for participation to all genders who are Filipino Australians, ages 8 to 30 years old. Auditions of performers will commence on the 24th of July 2011 (Sunday), 1:00 – 4:00pm. at the Hiyas ng Bayan Childcare Centre, 32 Anderson Street, Mt. Pritchard NSW.
PCC NSW’s Board of Director and Committee on Youth Project Chairman Marco Selorio, has confirmed a music record label executive and a prominent professional dancer as amongst of the judges in the auditions.

I would like to inquire how to join ‘Filipino Youth Got Talent’ show? My daugther is 12 years old and she love’s singing since she was 6 years old. she’s been doing a lot of concert, and stefford audition.
I would be interested to put her in.
