Ledesco Development Corporation has harnessed the resources and capabilities of the Philippine Health Care Association of Australia (PHCAA) in sending a medical mission to Antique. PHCAA is a pro-active organisation of Filipino doctors, nurses and other health care professionals.
The medical mission is scheduled for April 2009. Funds raised will be used to construct a 10-bed hospital in the remote island of Caluya in the province of Antique.
Caluya is composed of 5 small islands. It takes about 3 hours to reach the main town which is Caluya. There is no hospital, no medicine and often times, not one doctor is available to attend to sick residents.
Volunteers to the medical mission will be provided with one night free accommodation at the Ledesco Guest Cottages in Tagaytay City, Philippines.
Incidental to this project is the on-going sale of Ledesco properties in Tagaytay which can be viewed by visiting their website. Ledesco Development Corporation has pledged to donate 1% of the total amount of every sale to the Medical Mission in Antique.
What makes the offer even more interesting is that interested buyers are offered $500 subsidy for airfare to go and inspect the property plus pick up transfers from NAIA Airport to Tagaytay and back to Manila!
