Filipino-Australian singer and thespian RJ Rosales (Roseo José Rosales) has passed away in Sydney on December 4, 2011.
Rosales’ big break was in Miss Saigon. His last film role was in the movie Blue Moon where he received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The past year RJ has been performing regularly in musicals at the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore.
Not too long ago, he played the starring role in “Her Son Jose Rizal” staged at Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
Rumours on the cause of his death abound in twitter. There was also news that he had a medical condition but no specific information was available. Details of his death have yet to be confirmed.
His family in Sydney is requesting the general public to respect their privacy.
