Federal Member for Chifley, Ed Husic is calling for nominations from individuals and teams living in Chifley to be recognised in the 2012 Outstanding Chifley Volunteer Awards.
The 2012 Outstanding Chifley Volunteer Awards recognise the contribution made by volunteers in our community.
“Chifley has a great number of volunteers – community-minded people who give of their time to make society a better place,” Mr Husic said.
“Our volunteers cross ages, ethnic and gender boundaries and are the heart and soul of our community.”
“I encourage you to nominate an outstanding volunteer or group of volunteers in your organisation.”
