The UPAAA-NSW to hold seminar on Skilled Migration and Carer Visas by Pam Ventura

Do you have relatives who want to live, work or study in Australia? Do you need a full-time carer for your relative? If so, this is the event for you!

The University of the Philippines Alumni Association of Australia – New South Wales Chapter will hold a seminar on skilled migration and carer visas on the 23rd of September 2012, from 2:30pm at the Darug Room of the Parramatta City Library, Parramatta. Established solicitor and migration agent Atty. Imelda Argel will be on board, highlighting the changes that took effect on the 1st of July this year including new procedures for lodgement of applications and other essential requirements.

Atty. Argel, also the guest speaker during the association’s first visa seminar in 2009, considers the ever-changing migration regulations as one of the biggest challenges in her practice. Nevertheless, she has achieved a success rate of 90% visa approvals since 1996. Through the Filipino Migrants Forum, she has assisted in the resettlement of her clients who are new migrants or on a working visa. She is also the first recipient Filipino Australian Women’s Achievement Award for Corporate Practice and Entrepreneurship in NSW (2006) as well as the UPAAA-NSW Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award for Community Service & Law (2008).

Bookings for this seminar are essential due to limited seats, the deadline being the 19th of September. The fee is only $10 per person inclusive of light refreshments.
