Members currently in the country but have left Tacloban can apply for loan in any of the 48 branches of Pag-IBIG. They can also transact at the OFW Center which entertains all Pag-IBIG-related transactions including housing loan application.
If abroad, our 19 overseas posts (visit www.pagibigfund.gov.ph for complete contact details) which may be found at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate will be ready to assist them. To facilitate processing, our Information Officers may scan the duly accomplished Calamity Loan/Multi-Purpose Loan Application Form and forward the document via email to the Pag-IBIG OFW Center in Makati.
Should the applicant wish to deposit the loan proceeds to his/her savings account in the Philippines, it must be specified in the application form including the complete bank account details.
If the member wishes to file his/her loan application through a representative, he/she should also execute a Special Power of Attorney authorizing the person to transact on his/her behalf.
Please note that members qualified to avail of Calamity Loan are those who have made at least 24 months membership savings and has remitted 1 month savings for the last 6 months of the month prior to date of loan application.
