Actress Nikki Guevara appeared in Philippine TV shows “Goals and Girls,” “Are You the Next Big Star?” and “Ang Sugo,” and was a performer in the local theatre scene before moving to the United States in pursuit of an acting career.
She is scheduled to appear in a coming episode of the CBS cop drama “Blue Bloods,” starring Tom Selleck.
Guevara moved to New York City in 2011 (where she is based to this day) to pursue a degree in musical theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, then studied in London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She landed roles in several US theatre productions, among them “Into the Woods,” “The Wedding Singer” and “The Year of Living Dangerously.” Back in the Philippines, she was in “Little Mermaid,” “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Guevara is slated to play Kim in a North Carolina production of “Miss Saigon.”
She started shooting her “Blue Bloods” episode two weeks ago. The series airs Sundays in the Asian region, on cable channel AXN. (INQ.net)
