Philippine Sentinel columnist Boy Galang slams Federal Treasurer Joe Hockey while comparing him to a hockey player who swings his stick blade and hits the most vulnerable — the pensioners, the students and those heavily dependent on Medicare.
In his column which is more effectively written in Tagalog, Galang explains how Mr. Joe Hockey has hit millions of people nationwide in his bid to return the economy to surplus.
Meanwhile, there is unrest among the students, particularly those enrolled in universities as there are more than $80 billion in savage cuts to schools and hospitals.
Consequently, Prime Minister Tony Abbott cancelled his scheduled trip to Deakin University in Melbourne in anticipation of ‘fierce’ student demonstrations.
