Stage performances
Most of the line up is locked in. The committee is just waiting for some final confirmations.
The latest confirmed signing is the African Performing Arts Group, some of whom were part of the winners of Tropfest Film Festival.
There is a great front page on the Blacktown City Sun advertising the Festival. In the past, there was a Filipino Elvis Presley impersonator and complimentary karaoke equipment. We are confident that he will be performing again this month. Setting up of stalls are in progress.
There are plans to have lucky door prizes at specific times (at 12 noon and 2pm). Anyone who is there can pick up a ticket. Winning tickets will be drawn from a barrel for some exciting prizes.
Philippine Sentinel, which is the largest Filipino newspaper in circulation in New South Wales has committed to donate two FREE subscriptions for 12 months. Flyers about the festival will be distributed at the Doonside railway station on Friday 4th July & Wednesday 9th July.
