The Inaugural Mapua Alumni Association (MAA) Golf Cup was held last month at the Richmond Golf Course. The 50 players who participated were in high spirits in spite of the early morning downpour.
The event was organised to raise funds for a scholarship program of MAA and to help fund the preparation of the Mapua World Convention slated in Sydney on Sept. 10-13, 2015. The association has been awarding financial grants to deserving students at the Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) since 2012.

Overall champion was Art Sta. Barbara who won by countback 68. The Ladies Division was won by Prescilla Keogh with a score of 71. Bobby Leones had a rare Hole-in-one at the Par 3 Hole No. 2. Engr. Ferdie Francisco was committee chairman of the event.
