The Filipino Australian Movement for Empowerment (FAME) has announced that
Mr. Max Encomienda has relinquished his post as Executive Director of FAME, after being in position for less than three months. Encomienda also resigned as a member of FAME.
It is likely that Ms. Neria Soliman, Assistant Executive Director, will take over the head post, but it will be confirmed upon her return from holidays.
With a vacancy on the executive Board, Venus Priest who failed to make it at the last elections, steps up as a Director of FAME. Priest has been a member of FAME since 2007.
Regretfully, Encomienda felt that his personal goals were not aligned with FAME’s objectives and has chosen to resign.
The FAME Executive Board will continue to strive for the betterment and empowerment of all Filipinos, as they always have since it started in 2007.
FAME management and members wish one and all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
