Obama tells China to stop reclamation activities at once

Speaking at the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Fellows Forum, US President Barack Obama tells China to “quit throwing elbows in the West Philippine Sea and subscribe to internationally-accepted methods of resolving the dispute.”

He said the Asian giant should stop throwing its weight around because it would really harm everyone in the long run. The American President also said that although he believed China would become a rich and successful country in the end, “its current methods of resolving disputes are unlikely to earn it any friends.”  Obama added that with the way the dispute is going, Asia and not only China will suffer.
