I was advised that an article about the subject (PASC) was currently published in your paper.
Attached is the 22nd Sydney Fiesta Kultura 2010 Registration Form for those interested Trade & Food Exhibitors who wish to sale (sic) or display their products. It is their personal freedom of choice which type they wish to use.
There are two types of Exhibition Stands we supply. This is based from stall holder’s suggestions many years ago. They are Corporate Stand (similar to Darling Exhibition Centre) and Fete Stalls (Carnival Type).
Rental cost depends on the host venue hire and rental companies hiring charges / transport / labour on setting – up & dismantle. Since setting up is on weekend starting from Saturday, 7.00 pm to 12.00 pm after the Fairfield Market Day where extra labour charges are charged. PASC Inc. is very thankful to our 100 or more volunteer workers and PASC Inc. membership otherwise if they are paid there is no annual Filipino Fiesta. Hope this clarify your responsible journalism.

Thank you for your reaction. Being a business owner myself I appreciate and completely understand the P&L element of projects, I was hoping for a much more factual and positive response though addressing all matters raised. One main area for example that truly baffles me is how the Thai, Indonesians, Chinese, Latinos, etc can get a prime location and still open the festivities for free. I am confident that they also have relative costs to meet. I am still hoping you can revisit your strategy so community integration can truly succeed.I am confident that I am not alone when I raised those 3 major concerns – variety, pricing and transparency.
Anyway, as I said before, I believe the moment one assumes a position to represent the public is the time one become accountable to its purpose and expectations so you should not be surprise why I have a genuine interest on this. As a public figure (yourself) and a servant (myself) we are equally subject to a common responsibility – THE TRUTH. My truth is what I know and see – and that is the need to take the celebration to the next level and I believe the time has come for paying public to see the concrete outcome of their generosity. After all, we deserve to know what we paid for.
